SOR Mini Con | Racine, Wisconsin

The Science of Reading Mini Con brought together passionate educators from across Wisconsin and Ohio Illinois, California and New York, for a day of practical learning, meaningful collaboration, and evidence-based literacy instruction. Hosted by the Science of Reading 101 Club, the conference was filled with engaging keynote presentations (Heidi Martin, Jessica Farmer, Jake Daggett, Yvette Manns, and Michelle Sullivan) with hands-on workshops, and authentic conversations that reminded everyone why they do what they do.

Photographing events like this is about more than documenting speakers. It is about capturing the energy in the room, the connections being made, and the moments that showcase the impact an organization has on its community. I was honored to document this inspiring Racine conference and create imagery that will continue telling its story long after the final session wrapped.
